One of the features of the Feminist use of Family Violence theory as a tool to achieve Power and Control over men is the use of so-called "Experts". What is strange about these "Experts" is that they generally have no relevant academic qualifications. They quite often have Law degrees, which means that they may be interested in crime, but Law courses only teach about cases, laws, rules and regulations. Human behaviour is studied in subjects such as Psychology, which therefore also studies Family Violence.

However, many people in legal professions have the arrogance to think that they have abilities outside the purely legal sphere -- even if they have had no training in those extra-legal activities. Feminists long ago claimed Family Violence as a "Women's Issue", which meant that reporters always went running to Feminists when they had a Family Violence story to research. This, in turn, meant that neither reporters nor the public at large ever hears about the vast amount of actual research (as opposed to Feminist fantasising) that has been done on Family Violence -- see, for example, Professor Martin Fiebert's annotated family violence bibliography at https://web.csulb.edu/~mfiebert/assault.htm, which

"examines 286 scholarly investigations: 221 empirical studies and 65 reviews and/or analyses, which demonstrate that women are as physically aggressive, or more aggressive, than men in their relationships with their spouses or male partners. The aggregate sample size in the reviewed studies exceeds 371,600" (as at 25 July 2019).

Here are some examples of people referring to such "Experts" in public:

-- Hamill, Jasper (2019): "Men are more disadvantaged than women in the UK, US and most of Europe, scientists claim." Metro, 4 Jan 2019.
