(Open Letter to General Colin Powell)

Dear General Powell,

President Trump is the Logical Response to Decades of Media and University Lies and Sidelining of the Constitution.

I am not an American citizen or resident, but America is important to the World and what you said about President Trump was important to America, because you are a Republican and a prominent person. Your condemnation of President Trump, however, needs to be put into context.

The alternative to Trump (i.e. Back to the Future) is far worse and that is the reason why (politically speaking) President Trump is the way he is.

  1. Lies. In Western countries, the media and universities (with few exceptions) simply presuppose the victimhood of women and racial minorities, rather than proving it. Proving it would involve looking at all the ways in which men are disadvantaged, compared to women -- which most of the media and education system stubbornly refuse to do. They institutionalise their presumption of the victimhood of women and racial minorities like a religion in all of their thoughts, words and actions. Moreover, they enforce belief in this religion by penalising dissenters in their marking and editorial decisions.

The "Black Lives Matter" movement, supported by the media, simply assumes that the major factor in police killings is race, rather than gender. According to the Washington Post's database (as I mentioned in my article "Black Lives Matter" Movement is Sexist and Racist"), thirty-one Black people per million have been killed by US police, which is somewhat more than the rate for Hispanics (twenty-three per million), Whites (thirteen per million) and "Others" (4 per million). However, thirty-four males per million have been killed by US police, which is vastly more than the rate for females, which is only 1.5 per million. The discrepancy between the police shooting rate for males and females is VASTLY greater than the discrepancy between the rates for Blacks and Whites.

So, if you want to use these statistics to state that the police are racist against Blacks, you are forced -- logically -- to state that the police are VASTLY more sexist against men than they are racist against Blacks! On the other hand, if you want to state that proportionately more men than women are shot by police because more men than women commit crimes, you are forced -- logically -- to state also that proportionately more Blacks than Whites are shot by police because more Blacks than Whites commit crimes! If you want to draw different conclusions, you need to provide evidence for those different conclusions.

The Washington Post is supposedly a prestigious newspaper (actually, I don't think there is any such thing as a "prestigious newspaper"). But it lied in its article about its database -- emphasising the racial disparities in police killings and totally ignoring the much greater gender disparity in police killings. THAT IS LYING!

  1. Sidelining of the Constitution.

It is all very well your calling yourself a Republican, but if your views are close to those of Joe Biden, I wonder why you don't call yourself a Democrat! As you know, the First Amendment to the US Constitution guarantees Freedom of Expression. However, the facts which I have outlined above show that only the Leftists who have allies in the media and the education system have any real freedom of expression. If your words only reach a few thousands, you don't have the same freedom of expression as someone whose words reach millions -- thanks to the media and education system.

Then there is the Violence Against Women Act, which was introduced by Joe Biden. Its very name is discriminatory and a clear breach of the spirit of the Constitution's Fourteenth Amendment, which states, "nor shall any State ... deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws." Although it has apparently been amended to make it less anti-male, your close association with Joe Biden shows you up to be discriminatory and anti-male. I refer you to Professor Martin Fiebert's Annotated Bibliography of Domestic Violence Research (much ignored by the media), which "examines 286 scholarly investigations: 221 empirical studies and 65 reviews and/or analyses, which demonstrate that women are as physically aggressive, or more aggressive, than men in their relationships with their spouses or male partners."

Then there is Biden's attitude to due process and the Rule of Law when male students are accused of rape. Joe Biden wants to deny accused college students the procedural protections that he demands for himself.

In these ways, and others, the Constitution has effectively been sidelined for ages by Joe Biden, the Left and their media and university friends.

President Trump has mounted the first successful revolt against the undemocratic control of the Left over the information which voters need in a functioning democracy. This control over information has systematically disseminated lies and sidelined the US Constitution.
